Hello everyone 🙂
As promised, 2019 is a year of collaborations and many travels for #projectinterpret
It started with a trip to Kanheri Caves in Mumbai (erstwhile Bombay) which spurred Vishal Shastri to start his own blog – you can read all about it here: https://varnikadesigns.wordpress.com/2019/01/17/2019-has-an-exciting-start/#more-2054
February was an exciting month. There was an exceptionally beautiful ending of winter and ushering in of spring in northern India. With a new view of the Himalayas through the historic city of Dehradun, #projectinterpret learnt many new visions from design students of the School of Design, Doon University.
Social media quiz helped Manju Ramanan decide which lines expressed her spontaneous reaction to nature’s brilliance! Yo, social media and VarnikaDesign followers – thank you 🙂
March showed us carrying on with a super crazy zip through time with the exhibition on Company Paintings, and the trip with Aparna Andhare through Shekhawati
As we continue our travels into the next few terribly hot summer months, do find time to look up for the new tours coming up all over India. These will include forays into undiscovered art, culture, heritage, crafts, and design centres in this vast country 🙂
We shall also carry on with our extensive visits to museums and local community engagement spaces – hop on 🙂
